1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster for sale in Manakin, Virginia

This car was the first performance car Nissan (Datsun) made. It had the first 5 speed trani and side draft 4 barrel carberatorsThis car is structurally very sound and relatively rust-free compared to most existing models. The car was purchased five years ago as a project car for my graduating son. Never got around to restoring it. I bought it because the metal frame and floorboards are either very solid or have been repaired properly. The car has been repainted. I was told the top-end of the engine had been rebuilt, and it is now running very rough. Maybe a combination of engine and carburetor work will take it to the top level. The clutch and trany and rear differential are solid and work well.
Seats have been replaced with upgraded racing series seats.
Other than seats, car is stock.
Trunk has miscellaneous extra parts.
Comes with hardtop.
Windshield has a stone chip.
All the work has been done for this to pass state inspection. And about $3000 has been put into front suspension and brakes, clutch master cylinder and other work.
